CUSTOM MALAS

Choose your materials and have your own custom Mala made to your specifications! All materials used are of high quality, and have been infused with healing Reiki energy.

Traditionally, Malas are made from 8mm beads, are approximately 27" in length, and hand-knotted between each bead. Length can vary slightly due to size of beads, style of Mala, guru bead and length of tassel.

Malas can be worn around the neck, wrapped several times around the wrist, but are mainly used as a meditation tool.

MALA STYLE

There are seven Mala styles to choose from:

Standard - 108 of the same counting beads in the body of the Mala with a traditional silky tassel
Chakra Mala (A) - 101 counting beads + 7 semi-precious chakra beads representing each chakra
Chakra Mala (B) - 108 counting beads + 7 semi-precious chakra beads serving as a tassel
Tibetan Style - body of the Mala is divided into four sections of: 27 - 27 - 27 - 27
Mantra Style - body of the Mala is divided into sections of: 21 - 33 - 33 - 21
Zen Style - body of Mala is divided into sections of: 7 - 14 - 66 - 14 - 7
Beaded Tassel - body of Mala has 108 beads + 6 beads (of same or different color)

COUNTING BEADS

These are the 108 counting beads (usually 8mm) that comprise the main body of your Mala. They are made of either semi-precious stones or traditional sandalwood.

MARKER BEADS (optional)

If choosing a Tibetan, Mantra or Zen style Mala, you will need to choose marker beads. Marker beads can be 10mm (2mm larger than the main 8mm beads), or 8mm of a different color than the main counting beads. Marker beads break the body of the Mala up into sections. *Currently, 10mm beads are only available in Amazonite, Fancy Jasper, Unakite, Jasper, and Black Jasper.

GURU BEAD

This is the bead that connects the body of the Mala to the tassel, indicating the beginning and ending of the meditation. Take into consideration the symbolism behind each of the options, and what it might mean for you. If selecting a Chakra Mala, a crystal quartz guru bead is an excellent choice to help strengthen the healing benefits of the chakra beads.

CORD/TASSEL COLOR

The color you choose can compliment your color scheme, be neutral, stand out, or represent a chakra you would like to strengthen/balance. There is a knot between each bead to help with counting and connects all parts of your Mala together offering unsurpassed strength for lasting quality. Name any color you choose and chances are I have it! You can choose a different tassel color, too, if you like to mix colors. I can also text you a photo to confirm your color choice(s).
